Welcome to St. Dominic Savio-Ngelewala Pre&Primary School

St. Dominic Savio-Ngelewala Pre&Primary School is a welcoming, happy and hardworking school set in the surburb of Ngelewala, a few kilometres from town centre. We are very proud of our school; children, staff, parents, administrators and the wider local community and continually strive to ensure we offer our children the very best start in life. We have high expectations of everyone within our school community and encourage a sense of pride in both individual and combined achievements. We work hard to ensure all of our children achieve academically, socially and emotionally in school and are well prepared for further learning.  We currently provide high quality education for children from the age of 2 years in our Early Years Nursery setting through to Year 6. We are proud to have a caring and dedicated staff team who aim to develop a love of learning in all of our children. We offer an exciting and stimulating curriculum to all of our children which focuses on developing key skills in Reading, Maths and English throughout. Alongside this we continually promote a strong sense of personal development through the values of respect, tolerance, kindness, honesty, resilience and good humour.

We started our branch in the year 2018. Our school is situated on the Iringa - Ruaha National Park road branching to the right at Zizi la Ng'ombe center. Thus far we have got 3 years of preparatory school years well covered, plus a toddler/babycare center which caters for the needs of those families who may wish to groom their children in a child-friendly safe environment within an established and recognized institution.

I am really proud of our school and the staff work extremely hard to make learning fun and exciting. We work as a very close team and strive to involve parents as much as possible in the learning of their children. I am extremely honoured to be the Headteacher of St Dominic Savio Ngelewala Pre- Primary School and I believe that when children move on from our school at the end of their years they will leave with the following idea, fond memories of childhood years.
