The opposing team members equally charged for the derby as you may wish to call it, are getting ready for action. It was serious business! In all our efforts aimed at bringing education to our population, our sight has been/will always be focused on laying a strong foundation for success in sports and physical education, football being one of them.

Hatumwi mtoto dukani! That is precisely what is going to happen here, precisely why our cutting edge sports and games grounds offer our children. To have an opportunity for them to sharpen their sporting skills. In the picture below, the young lads are getting ready to enjoy the game at the school grounds.

A meeting with the visiting professor

St Dominic Savio Schools- Iringa community  felt tremendously privileged to have in our midst the Minister for Education, Science and Technology - Professor Joyce Ndalichako during the recently concluded jubilee celebrations marking 25 years of ministry to the church for the schools' director, Father Aidan Paul Ulungi. Her willingness to honor our invitation despite all the demanding and competing and equally important errands that the holder of such an office must attend to, is a testimony to the fact that the government and the private sector are working hand in hand, walking together in addressing the needs and  challenges that we are confronted with in meeting  21st century learning objectives. When she took to the podium, she delivered her speech in an easy to understand, but thrilling and inspiring tone and language that showed she well understood the mix in her audience.

It is no secret that we enjoyed those few hours in your presence here at our school. Our children scrambled to take pictures with you and you did not turn them away. Of course it could have taken a few days to complete all the requests for having those selfies with you, so we assured them you will come again some other time(I should add maybe :-).... As we look forward to the years ahead, we will continue to work tirelessly, knowing that the government is always listening and has never failed to give us cooperation and  direction in all matters of policy and setting standards for quality education.

Thank you and we welcome you again!

   Fr Aidan P. Ulungi

Message from Head-teacher, St Dominic Savio Primary Schools,

 WELCOME
On behalf of all St. Dominic Savio Schools head-teachers, I wish to extend a hearty warm and loving  welcome to all our students in the year 2021. It is notable that the past year 2020 had a myriad challenges. We are grateful that the effects of covid-19 were less felt in our country as compared to other places on our planet, including some of our neighbours.  The new year is started and we are all set to make a mark. Where we missed to achieve our goals due to all that happened, it is my hope that all is on the right trajectory

WELCOME

We’ve all heard the expression “All’s well that ends well.” And that certainly carries a lot of truth. But really, how we begin has its own huge impact on the success of any effort. For us, how we lay the foundation for our children's future carries a lot of weight and I'm proud to be part of that beginning.

St Dominic Kigonzile Primary school was started in 2018. As Principal I am hugely impressed ... Learn More Here
